KB Contractors

KB Contractors was created by Kelvin Read and Brent Reid in 1985, specializing in trenchless technology using thrust boring equipment, directional drills, pipe ramming and in situ pipe bursting. As our company grew through demand, we have moved forward purchasing many other plant items including conventional excavation equipment, involving the installation and maintenance of Dunedin City’s gas reticulation network, Dunedin City’s Water reticulation, tender drainage work and Telco networks.

KB Contractors maintain a staff level of 40 qualified personnel to carry out all of the operations listed.
